Keynotes Audio Ltd have now changed name to Keynotes Technologies Ltd - our new website is currently being built, please be patient whilst this happens. For now, you can still get in touch, in exactly the same way as before, via our website and on our various social media platforms. Our banking arrangements are also the same, so if you need to make a payment - you can do so. For existing customers, nothing will change - but for new customers that may be adding our details to make payment, you will probably get a prompt about the business name. This could be for up to 21 days from 21/01/26 - until our business banking has caught up with the new changes. If you're worried, or concerned, please get in touch and we can guide you through the process.

The name change will coincide with the new services that we will offer. By saying farewell to some of the current offerings we are able to replace them with something new.

Before we go into detail, let's take this opportunity to say a BIG thank you to everyone that has booked us, supported us and kept in touch! Keynotes Audio has been an absolute pleasure, and as we head into the final 12 months of offering what we have done best... 

 

What's new then?

​

Keynotes Technologies have teamed up with an exciting business at the leading edge of building energy efficiency and performance. Their equipment collects detailed data and measurements which informs home owners and other housing providers about the health of their building.

 

The equipment is also used to diagnose damp and mould related issues in buildings, along with providing accurate data for specifying heat pump installations as well as other heating and ventilation applications such as background ventilation.

Some of the data collected can also be submitted with EPC's (Energy Performance Certificates) when the time comes to apply for a grant perhaps, to improve your existing heating, or for a Landlord to obtain a better result for a rented property.

​

All of the above is included in recent government changes to legislation - so it's exciting to be a part of this!

Services offered by Keynotes Technologies will include (We will go into more detail when we launch our brand new website):

• Airtightness Testing (Pulse Mk3)

• U-Value measurements (Heat3D using calibrated thermographic images)

• HTC (Heat Transfer Co-efficient) using SmartHTC

• Extractor fan measurements (Ventiflow Mk2)

Our aim, is to provide a holistic view of a property, which is massively more detailed than your EPC which uses a national average. No building is average, and no 2 properties are the same. While some EPCs are accurate enough, others will be anywhere up to 50% out - showing that your property is performing either a lot better than expected, or a LOT worse! These tests will give you a specific set of results which could even improve the value of your home. That's a huge step forward! 

 

What's staying?

• Karaoke will continue - right through until NYE 2027 - Dec 31st 2026 that is... under our new name.

• Discos have already been phased out but our karaoke nights do suit those that like to have a boogie too. 

• Our MarqBo is still available for hire until October 2026.

• PAT testing, as our busiest service, will be offered under our new name. 

• Vinyl design, printing and cutting along with our mugs, will be offered under our new name.

• VHS and other media formats to digital transfer - that's staying too!

What's going? 

​

Sadly from the end of March 2026, our open mics will be ending. It's been a really difficult decision, but with the amount of open mics currently out there we feel that numbers have dropped, which really affects the pubs takings. Ultimately, karaoke nights are more popular and pubs are making more money. That is exactly what they need. ​

 

We have had a good run. We've created a 'safe space' for musicians of all ages and we've had some wonderful opportunities created, because of the standard we've kept. Opportunities have arisen and musicians that have taken part, have progressed in their personal journey's, often thanks to the reputation we have created. We're very proud of the musicians and us for this! We have a 'Grande Finale' planned - keep an eye on our Facebook group for further details.

Discos have been off the cards for around 6 months now, with associated kit sold on or ready to be sold. We've kept plenty to ensure our karaoke nights are not cut short from the standard everyone has become accustomed to. Karaoke will end NYE 2026/7. We intend to have our final karaoke at The Unicorn, Chase Meadow in Warwick. So we will end where we started, just before Covid!

The MarqBo is going to be retired in October 2026. It's done us very well indeed and its condition is amazing, considering how many hires it has been on!​
